It wouldn't matter so much, except that the data they've sent me is so entirely unrelated to the data they publish, that I am on the verge of writing a damning report on number fixing. The only thing stopping me is that it's just so, well, BORING!
The woman I share an office with has a problem with ActiveX. Okay, so we all know that you should switch ActiveX off if you use Intershit Explorer. It's a certificate problem apparently, probably that the software doesn't like lots of users in Windows to use it.
The bloke who is summoned to look at the problem decides very quickly that at some point in the past the computer MUST have been infected with a virus and wipes it and reinstalls windows. Now she has no software left, but it sort of works again.
Wait - no it doesn't. Why not? Because Windows wasn't broken! It was their Access program that was broken! What a waste of time, from a man who probably earns twice as much as me. A quick search on Google reveals an almost-answer, but you know, it's not my job to fix it.
I put QUAY down in the top right hand corner and get 87 points. I have no idea why this girl's last move was to get two points for IS instead of 10 for BANDITS. Maybe she's only 3, or doesn't speak English or something. It's possible.
