Hi everybody, welcome to the first week of teaching! (Lord help us)

PLEASE could you let me know if you are NOT running any tutorials this week, so that I will know which rooms are available for other bookings and can let the students know via the noticeboards and the web (because we DO like to be able to point out how stupid they are when they get all confused and say we never told 'em).

Please also let me know whether rooms are suitable, too small, ill-equipped etc, and will do my best to accommodate you where it is possible (I said 'WHERE POSSIBLE', can't you lot READ?).

I am also very interested in anything you might find that is still wrong with the timetables (translation: I'd better TRY and fix it, I guess, since I fscked it up in the first place! Of course, you could all just do what you normally do and complain to my boss about it next week without telling me.), as this is my first year doing it I'm sure they're not all perfect (Actually, they are. It's YOU who got it wrong, don't lie...)!

As usual, if anybody is off sick or anything like that, you need to contact me as early as possible (seriously, this is IMPORTANT) so that we can let the students know. If you do need to cancel a class, it is also important that you let us know if there is any work set / reading to be done in your absence (yeah right, like the little buggers don't just go down the pub).
