"Carnival Day will be on Saturday 5 July, a return to its usual mid-summer spot.
This year's Carnival in September attracted a record 60,000 revellers and was a lively, enjoyable, family-friendly day. We intend to build on this to create an even more exciting and fun-packed event in 2008."
