Fairly straightforward I think, just vent some spleen after the girl on the phone is obstinately unhelpful. Still, I get a reply very quickly:

Well I supposed if they WILL turn up at 6 in the evening... Of course if I'd had it delivered to my HOUSE they'd have turned up while I was at work! Still, no excuse for just sticking a card through the door and not trying again! What did they expect? It takes two hours to return to the branch, so they left at 4pm. Do couriers even bother to read addresses ever?
Not to mention the fact that I was told that they attempted delivery THREE TIMES and this is clearly only one. I very much doubt that they wouldn't have tried different times of day if they had. But no, that would be far to sensible.
As a refund has already been issued the only way to obtain this is to place a new order. By way of a goodwill gesture however for any disruption caused your account has been issued with a free shipping bean. This is a free standard delivery for up to 10 kilos to a UK mainland address.
Oh. Well then. If I get a Free Shipping Bean it must be alright. Not that you seem to be able to find the place anymore. Disregarding the fact that the other million things I've bought from you have turned up on time! I'll just have to think of something heavy and expensive to buy now, and just pray it actually turns up.
