Oh my, it's just too lovely! In need of a tune, but I have well and truly made my mark on the GF's house now, with the acquisition of a 'free' piano! Of course, moving it, tuning it and having to buy a new sofa to make the room habitable again dampen the freeness of it but still, it's a piano.
When I left school I was studying for the Grade Eight piano exam. Yes, I was that good. I could play all the pieces but we never got round to booking the exam so I didn't take it so technically I'm grade seven. That was ten years ago.
Blaming the [skip:foundry] for a wrist injury and going off on my GAP year my piano playing has fallen by the wayside so there's a lot of practice in the future. You better play it after all this fuss she says.
