This book details my experience as a teaching 'missionary'for USPG, and the trials and tribulations of being dumped in a strange (and wonderful) country with very little support when you're just out of school.

I filled three books with scribblings, lovingly handmade by my sister and they were a lifesaver for the really stressful times.

What you will read here are uncut transcripts (with addendums and footnotes as other things spring to mind) of what happened three years ago.

I haven't been able to get hold of C. to ask his permission to write my deepest thoughts and feelings about him, so here's hoping he doesn't pull the plug!
